Audience: Law Enforcement Officers, Tactical Teams, Firearms Instructors

I. Program Objectives

  • Equip officers with operational knowledge of CeramiStrike™ behavior across barriers
  • Certify officers in safe, effective deployment under agency SOPs
  • Reinforce backdrop awareness, legal defensibility, and tactical control
  • Integrate CeramiStrike™ into qualification and scenario-based training

II. Training Modules

Module 1: Ammunition Familiarization (1 hour)
Topics:

  • Ceramic tip mechanics and barrier-blind expansion
  • Comparison with FMJ, hollow point, and polymer-tipped rounds
  • Velocity, penetration, and weight retention profiles
  • ATF compliance and legal classification
Activities:
  • Classroom briefing
  • Visual breakdown of round construction
  • Q&A on legal and operational use

 

Module 2: Barrier Behavior & Tactical Application (1.5 hours)
Topics:

  • Performance through drywall, auto glass, wood, and sheet metal
  • Trajectory stability and deflection resistance
  • Tactical use cases: vehicle interdiction, interior structures, barricaded suspects
  • Backdrop evaluation and risk mitigation
Activities:
  • Barrier penetration demo (video or live-fire)
  • Case study review of barrier-blind engagements
  • Group discussion on backdrop-sensitive deployment

Module 3: Live Fire Qualification (2 hours)
Topics:

  • Platform-specific cycling and accuracy
  • Controlled expansion and terminal behavior
  • Round count documentation and scoring
  • Suppressed and unsuppressed platform performance

Activities:

  • Range qualification with CeramiStrike™
  • Barrier simulation drills
  • Scoring and instructor feedback

Module 4: Scenario-Based Engagements (1.5 hours)
Topics:

  • Room clearing with backdrop control
  • Vehicle stop with suspect proximity
  • Barricaded subject with limited visibility
Verbal command integration during sensory disruption

 

Activities:
  • Simunitions or live-fire scenarios
  • Role-play with instructor evaluation
  • Tactical debrief and performance review

 

Module 5: SOP Integration & Certification (1 hour)
Topics:
  • Use-of-force alignment and documentation
  • Inventory control and deployment logs
  • Annual requalification standards
  • Certification issuance and recordkeeping

Activities:

  • SOP review and policy alignment
  • Written knowledge check
